Charles is a Professional Mechanical Engineer with rich experience in the automobile industry having passed through the ranks in the automobile service setup. He is the Head of Technical for J.A. PLANTPOOL (GH) Ltd Nationwide. He holds an MSc. In Project Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and HND in Automobile Engineering from Ho Technical University, Ghana.

He is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering and a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Ghana. He also holds an International Certificate of Training on Yutong Long and mini-Coaches and Howo Trucks and Heavy-duty equipment in China. He visited the Yutong China manufacturing company in 2010 and also in 2014 he led a team to the Yutong manufacturing company and Sinotruk manufacturing company in China where he made recommendations on some technical modifications to the Yutong bus models giving him great experience in maintenance and repair on Buses, Howo Trucks and heavy-duty equipment.

He has over 15 years of working experience in both Managerial positions as Technical Manager and Technical Supervisory positions in managing and supervising the technical team in repairing long and mini-Coaches, Howo Trucks and Heavy-duty equipment both in J. A. Plant Pool and S.A. Automobile Ltd. He holds great knowledge in General maintenance and repairs, Customer service Excellence, and Training of Mechanics and Drivers.

Ing. Charles Kwesi Tei’s responsibility is to develop, implement and monitor technical strategies, policies, and procedures, provide quality services, proper diagnosing of faults, strategic planning, workshop management, Project Management, Teamwork, Training staff, Safety and develop staff.
