In a bold move to deepen technical expertise and regional collaboration, J.A Plant Pool Ghana Ltd, in partnership with its global ally LIUGONG, officially launched the 2025 West Africa LIUGONG Training Program, at the JA Plant Pool Training School premises.
The intensive one-month technical training brings together participants from Ghana, Nigeria, and Côte d’Ivoire, and aims to build a robust workforce capable of servicing and managing LIUGONG’s advanced range of heavy machinery. This initiative underscores the commitment of both JA Plant Pool and LIUGONG to fostering skills development and innovation across the sub-region.
A Hub for Technical Excellence
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ing. Charles K. Tei, Head of Technical at JA Plant Pool, warmly welcomed participants, highlighting the transformative power of the initiative.
“This training program is a testament to our shared vision for technical excellence and innovation. Over the next four weeks, participants will gain exposure to the latest advancements in LIUGONG machinery, diagnostic tools, troubleshooting techniques, and hands-on applications,” he said.
Engineer Tei also urged all attendees to immerse themselves in the program through active learning, collaboration, and cross-cultural engagement.

Leadership in Action
The keynote address was delivered by Madam Belinda Amarteifio, Head of Human Capital at the Technical and Logistics Group who represented the Managing Director of J.A Plant Pool, Madam Adwoa Frimpomaa Nimako-Boateng.
In her keynote address, Madam Amarteifio stated:
“This marks not just the beginning of a month-long technical session, but the continuation of a powerful partnership, a shared vision, and a mutual commitment to excellence, innovation, and empowerment.”
She emphasized that the training goes beyond technical knowledge—it’s about nurturing the next generation of experts who will drive Africa’s industrial transformation.

A Global Perspective
In an interview with Metro TV, Mr. Lu Bingjian, After Sales Manager for LiuGong Global at JA Plant Pool, highlighted the success of past collaborations such as the DRIP Project, which further solidified trust and cooperation between the two institutions.
“This is not just a local event. It’s a global initiative that connects our partners across Africa and China,” he noted.
Ing. Tei also explained that the training is part of a broader contract between J.A Plant Pool and LiuGong Global, supported by Liugong’s government-affiliated agencies in China. The program’s scope includes advanced diagnostics, machinery performance optimization, and safety protocols.
Setting the Pace for Africa’s Heavy Machinery Industry
This marks the first time J.A Plant Pool has hosted such a multinational technical training program in collaboration with LiuGong Global. It reinforces the company’s role as a regional leader in equipment solutions and technical capacity-building.
As the program unfolds over the next few weeks, it is expected to spark new levels of innovation, empower technical staff with cutting-edge skills, and reinforce the strategic partnership between J.A Plant Pool and LiuGong Global—not just in Ghana but across West Africa.
